Up We Go!

It’s been ages since I wrote anything. I apologize for being MIA, but oh boy how much did college sucks when you are halfway done with it. Actually, it was just me procrastinating for the whole semester and screaming internally for that stupid decision.

Anyway, I am back. Alive and kinda well. So many good movies, series, and music have been flooding the universe making life so worth living again and I wanna talk about that. Although I do not have any idea where to start. As a person who has been running her entire life on anxiety mode every day, I can finally say life is freaking awesome because of the little things! Sure, there are bad days but that is just how life is in general. What’s the point of dwelling over negativities?

I want to share with you guys the practice of getting back up on your feet and be a badass. Or at least smile and laugh at my stupidity…

  • Count your blessing.

Even if you feel like you have nothing at all, there is at least one thing you overlook about yourself. The best gift in the world is the gift of being alive. There are tons and tons of people out there with hopes and dreams that have been archived because why? It’s too late for them to fight for anything. They are no longer here on this planet. What about you? Are you going to just throw away your second chance of being able to get out of bed and see the next sunrise because you feel like you are so lost in the dark that you did not know you are able to do something because you know you have functional limbs? Take a break and come back, remember there is someone out there who pray to God to be in your position.

  • Smile

Don’t frown. Turn that frown of yours upside down as it actually makes you feel a little bit better. It does not take much to just smile. Life can get hard sometimes, but it is not the end of the world. Everything is going to be alright sooner or later. Keep going. You have come too far to go back.

And this blog is inspired by my all-time favorite music that has been stuck in my head for so long. Listen to it when you are down, it is sweet and catchy like goddamn, boiiiiii!!! 😀 XD

Remember when I told you
“No matter where I go
I’ll never leave your side
You will never be alone”
Even when we go through changes
Even when we’re old
Remember that I told you
I’ll find my way back home

Way Back Home by Connor Maynard ft. Shaun

I encourage you to listen to both the Korean version by Shaun alone and also the collaboration with Connor. xoxo

  • Surround yourself with those who genuinely care

It is rare to find someone real in this world where being fake is a trend that everyone loves to jump onto. If you have someone who is down for you anytime, treasure them. Maybe that’s why Way Back Home speaks to me. Being able to have someone who you can always turn to is probably one of the best feelings one can experience. However, do not ever lose yourself in the society that tells you to be what they want to see. You are your own person and you are your own first home. It is okay that everybody leaves you. Be at peace with yourself before anything else. Put yourself first. Remember to take care of your own well-being, physically and mentally. You will always have you at the end of the day.

Finally, don’t let anyone and anything bring you down. ❤
