Escape

Imagine a point in your life where you actually need an escape from your current escape. It is horrendous, isn’t it?

A vacation is supposed to be a method of relaxing your body and mind from whatever is tiring you, not making you wanting another one because you are exhausted from your current trip. Well, welcome to adulthood of which you are restless twenty-four seven.

Personally, I highly recommend you going on one. Alone. All by yourself. Yes, you are reading this correctly. You do not always need someone to be with you all the time. When you feel extremely burned out, try doing whatever you could not possibly think you could have done. Buy that train ticket even though you do not know where the train station in that new city you are living temporarily at is. You are blessed to be born in an era where google map exists. Use it in your favor as you are able to. Finish your classes before you take off on your journey. You do not need to tell everybody your plan if you do not want to. Spend your last hour having lunch with your acquaintance who helped you out when you first arrived in the unknown city. Bid farewell to her.

“In life, nobody knows what they are doing either.”

The universe enjoys testing you for the purpose of your growth. You cannot mature with an easy life. Occasionally, a little rain is not bad at all. You may struggle a bit with all your baggage, but in the end, you still made it. You are much stronger than the credit you give yourself for. Whenever you feel unsure or lost, ask that stranger who you spotted in the corner. He is nicer than you thought. He even led you to your destination with his time constraint. See? A simple act of kindness could brighten anybody’s day. This little moment in life is what fills your heart. Therefore, please go on living for the sake of more random beautiful scenes that are possible to occur more further down the road. It is worth it.

And just like that, you are on the train embarking on your next escape to a place where nobody knows your name. In another unknown city. Entirely new to you.ย
